Have you ever been feeling a bit down and somebody will suggest that if you go for a run you will feel better? There is a growing amount of scientific data to suggest that they might be right.

There are a lot of people who will advocate the benefits of “getting back to nature” to help with things such as decision making and dealing with emotional stress, right through to preventing mental decline.
